WHAT IS HOMEOPATHY?

Homeopathy is a form of complementary and alternative medicine discovered by a German Physician Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in the late 18th century. It is based on a principle of "SIMILIA SIMILIBUS CURENTUR" - "LIKE CURES LIKE". Homeopathy stimulates a healing response and strengthens the body’s ability to heal itself.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST CONSULTATION?

A detailed Consultation includes questions related to your physical, mental, emotional complaints or challenges. The Doctor will ask about your lifestyle, fears, cravings, food preference, weather preference, sleep patterns, content of dreams, nature or behavior, specific descriptions of various sensations related or unrelated to your complaints and more. These symptoms guides the Homeopathic Doctor to reach the perfect Homeopathic remedy which has the similar symptoms. Unlike a conventional medical consultation this information is essential for a Homeopathic Evaluation.

DO I NEED TO AVOID ANY FOOD, COFFEE OR ALCOHOL WHILE TAKING HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES ?

It is recommended that you should avoid consuming any strong aromatic foods or drinks such as coffee, mint or raw onion and garlic at the same time as you are taking the Homeopathic medicines so that it doesn't interfere with the effectiveness of the action of the medicines. Simply keep a gap of 15 minutes before and after eating, drinking or brushing your teeth.

CAN I TAKE HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES ALONG WITH OTHER CONVENTIONAL MEDICATIONS ?

Yes, it is safe to take Homeopathic medicines along with other conventional medicines. However, a registered Homeopathic Practitioner should be consulted for an individualized treatment plan.
